NEWS! and rambling...

First of all, I'd like to say thank you to our puppy families! We have enjoyed meeting so many of you, and having wonderful visits with you in person and over the phone. I'd also like to say thanks to our amazing guardian homes where Penny, Lulu, Magnum and Darla live.

As many of you know that things have changed since Covid, regarding puppies. It can take longer to find homes, and less people are looking for a pup. We are committed to finding great homes for all of our babies, and we put a lot of work into keeping them social and wonderful if they don't find homes quickly. It gets very hard to have more dogs here, and stretches us a bit thin at times. We can't really ever go away for even a weekend.

This year we started out with a handful of puppies of Hazel and Hero's that were a few months old still looking for families. I have to admit, it gets harder the older I get to not fall in love with every single one of them. We're used to saying good-bye, but it's hard on the kids too.

The younger kids always want to keep a puppy from each litter. We had wanted to continue with guardian homes for the majority of our dogs, but I admit..... I have fallen in love with another and cannot bear to part with her. This is Margo, a Hazel and Hero puppy.

She is everything that we want to breed. Personality, intelligence, gentleness, grace and just the most wonderful company! I'd like to share something with you... 16 years ago we started out with a dog named Lily from Texas, she was a fantastic big girl. Margo is her great-great grand daughter. THIS is why you should trust us with your next buddy... we've consistently kept excellent puppies for our breeding program....since the beginning. It's not a coincidence that our dogs are amazing. And so you realize that I'm not just tooting my own horn, there are somethings that I'm NOT amazing at, like routines, math, keeping a tidy house.... I like to keep it real, I'm artistic and messy. Sigh... on another note,

I have an ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Lulu and Lincoln are expecting! Remember the litter they had in 2022 (July 4th, the ones we named after States?) We have heard only good things back from their families. Oh man, did I love that litter!!

They will be ready for families at the beginning of June. We also might have another announcement coming soon...... check back!

You wonderful people reading this blog, thanks for sticking with me. Feel free to drop me an email or send a testimonial about your Carson puppy! I'd love to put it on my testimonial page.

I will try to make blogging more of a regular occurrence, it was kind of fun writing this. May God shine His wonderful face upon you today!
